This new and exciting course embraces the new and emerging digital technologies and addresses contemporary practice in the fields of 2D/3D Animation and Games Design, Time Based-Media, Web Design and Graphic Design. All students are competent using current software within their chosen design disciplines. The course consists of both practical and digital design work, created on and off screen. It is aimed at those who wish to embark on a career in the Creative Industries. The students of this HND course aim to further develop their ability in design-led disciplines and many of them are articulating on to 2nd and 3rd year university entry.
The exhibition will showcase the students’ work from the HND1&2 as well as the NQ Computer Arts and Design at Stevenson College, Edinburgh. The exhibition will be held at art’s complex, St. Margaret’s House, 151 London Road, Edinburgh, EH7 6AE from Friday 10th June until Friday 17th June 2011.
