Gray’s School of Art honours-year painting students will be presenting a pre-degree show in art’s complex, Edinburgh, this February. This is a unique opportunity to view student work from one of Scotland’s leading art schools; and to support and engage with emerging Scottish artists based in the north east. The exhibition will comprise of individual work from each honours-year painting student and celebrates painting in all its diverse contemporary forms.
The exhibition, simply named ‘17’, provides the opportunity for emerging artists in the north east to be seen by a wider audience in the thriving capital of Edinburgh, before they present a comprehensive body of work for their degree show in June 2012.
