About us

St Margaret‘s HouseOpened in August 2008, art’s complex is a charitable organisation based in St Margaret's House, 151 London Road, Edinburgh. Our main aim is to redress the imbalance between the number of artists working in the city and the affordable work-space that is available to them.

Our long-term objective is to reach out specifically to the surrounding community through arts education and participatory projects. We hope to realise this aim by inviting culturally diverse projects and artists to show and discuss their work in art’s complex.
